Piety build a Whole

By: Muhammad Nuh.
Build self piety sometimes like driving on a deserted road. Must be able to measure the situation: whether the vehicle drove too fast, or very slow.
Fact may be, the preoccupation in the quiet atmosphere can make the driver fall asleep.

There are interesting prayer ever uttered Umar ra One time, he begged God, "O Allah, I seek refuge in Thee from wicked people malignancy. And the weakness of the pious. "
The last sentence of Umar's prayer, has its own lesson. That, piety is not always intact. He could be stuck in ego preoccupation. Can be mired in weakness wrapped in a view: the world had to be shunned.
From there, pious people become wrapped pearls. Are only valuable to himself. It never appeared in the societies. Do not want to appear to fix the environment that are considered 'dirty'.
God Almighty. never gave a valuable lesson to a servant of his great piety, Yunus ibn Mata. When Prophet Yunus left his people to reject, without guidance from God Almighty., He got a reprimand. Rebuke Jonah felt when he was in the whale's belly. At that time, he felt the three of darkness: darkness, darkness of the ocean floor, and the darkness in the belly of the fish.
At that moment, Jonah realized that he had left a big responsibility. He glorify and istighfar'. Word of God Almighty., "And (remember) Dzun Nun (Jonah), when he went in anger, then he thought that We will not narrow it down. So he called in a very dark: there is no god but You. Glory to You, in fact I was among those who do wrong. "(Al-Anbiya ': 87)
If only it were not for prayer beads, the prophet Jonah will never go out of the belly of the fish. "Then he (Prophet Jonah) swallowed a big fish in a deplorable state. So if he does not include those who remember Allah much (musabbihin), surely he would have stayed in its belly till the Day of Resurrection. "(Ash-Shaaffaat :142-144)
Probably, almost no pious people today who move home because people run away from responsibility. But, they might just move not in the physical sense. But, more because of the shrinking of concern. They are more comfortable being at home and the mosque, rather than blend in with the environment. More happy busying herself in 'exile' rather than make changes.
Unfortunately, weak self for not being able to face the reality environments such as the achievement. And the devil continues to entertain, "You are righteous. No one shalih as you. Continue to keep your personal hygiene. Do not mess with the mix in a dirty environment. "
On the centenary AH, there is an expert of worship that is so wara and ascetic. He is the son Fudhail 'Iyadh. He wants to make amends in the past by living in the Baitul Haram. "O Allah, indeed I have repented to You and I will make my repentance by living in the Baitul Haram," Fudhail determination is so strong.
Since then, Fudhail busied himself with the worship at the Haram. He often cries repent the sins they have committed. So often wept, until his cheeks formed a gap former flow of tears.
He was keeping his family from food subhat. He refused all the gifts of the nobles and the kings who happened to visit the Baitul Haram. Fudhail more comfortable with the care of his family in Makkah water.
However, he did not think that this was not anything. Piety that had been his case was still far from proper. That's a lesson learned Fudhail after meeting a great hadith scholar, Abdullah Ibn Mubarak.
A string of sentences written specifically for Abdullah Ibn Mubarak dear friend, Fudhail bin 'Iyadh:
O 'abid al-Haramain,
if you pay attention to us,
You must know that during this
you only play in worship.
If your cheeks wet with tears then our necks wet with blood.
If you are tired horses in vain,
then our horses tired in the battlefield.
Fragrant perfume fragrance, it's for you,
Our fragrances while sand and dust.
Al-Quran has come to us to explain,
the martyrs will never die, and that's for sure.
After reading the letter, Fudhail tears in his eyes. He also said, "You are right, Ibn al-Mubarak. By Allah, you are right! "
